Circuitous: A Step Backward

I have to do this backward. Because I started late. I didn’t realize blogging about your game development was a thing. That’s the thing about this thing. There’s so much to learn beyond just the bytes and bits. So now I’ll attempt to catch you up on my journey by starting two months prior to now.

I hate to say it, but I clicked on a Facebook ad. I was scrolling through my feed and this appeared:

Of course I had to click. Why wouldn’t I want to build a great Indie game? The truth be told - I have had a game ruminating for nearly five years. It was time to do something about it. So I decided then and there that I would take this summer to learn Unity and then at some point begin to work on my own game.

July 2nd, 2015

I've done it! Only a day later and I have my first compiled Unity game up and running. A simple game called Number Wizard that guesses the number you've chosen between 1 and 100.

I look forward to what the next game will be. So far the class is going well.

This is my first step toward documenting my game development process. Please give me feedback on how I can do this better or on what you would like to see in the blog.
